Our booking conditions

A reservation is only final after payment of the amount communicated at the time of reservation. It is not allowed to rent a room in your name without staying there yourself. In case of no-show, the guest pays the total price of the reservation.

Cancellations

The guest can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. The guest pays the cost of the first night if canceled within 7 days before arrival. If the guest does not show up, the guest pays the total price of the reservation.

Cancellations due to COVID-19

For COVID-19 situations we are more flexible when it comes to canceling a booking. If the booked guest or his planned accompanying guest tests positive and/or has to comply with quarantine during the period of the planned stay in our B&B, cancellation with refund is possible until the day of arrival. To qualify for this exception, the guest must be able to present a valid test result. This arrangement also applies if travel to Belgium is no longer possible due to a travel ban determined by the government. In both cases, the guest can opt for a refund or reschedule the reservation to a later date (for which availability).

parking

Guests can reserve and pay for a parking space through us in the Citibee parking garage. The use of this parking garage is at your own risk. B&B Borgerhouse cannot be held liable for damage or theft.

city tax

The City of Antwerp charges a tourist tax. This tourist tax is calculated upon reservation on the amount that the City of Antwerp uses at the time of booking. Should the City of Antwerp increase its tourist tax by more than 5% between the time of reservation and the actual stay, B&B Borgerhouse has the right to have its guests pay this extra amount upon check-out.
